Every spring, a hundred or so trees and contemplation stones in one of the Périgord's landmark settings. The second edition is in preparation.

Le Sens du Bonsaï brings together enthusiasts, collectors and professionals around one exhibition a year, workshops and a journal. Membership gives access to the workshops and the visits, and lets you show your own trees.

Biron 2027 is taking shape
Le Sens du Bonsaï is a non-profit association from the Dordogne, born in 2022 of a simple decision: to organise, as a team, a bonsai exhibition on a par with the great French shows. Enthusiasts, collectors and professionals meet there every spring.
The first edition was held at Château de Biron on 16 and 17 May 2026, with some fifty trees, suiseki and a professionals' village. The second is in preparation: exhibitor applications are open.

Château de Biron
Seat of one of the baronies of Périgord and a listed monument, Château de Biron opens its courtyards and terraces to the trees.

Free parking at the foot of the village, three hundred metres from the entrance. The castle is open to the public throughout the day of the exhibition.
