Free parking at the foot of the village, three hundred metres from the entrance. The castle is open to the public throughout the day of the exhibition.

Set on a mound on the border between Périgord and Agenais, Château de Biron was for eight centuries the seat of one of the four baronies of Périgord. Founded around the year 1000, transformed by the Gontaut-Biron family from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance, it came through the Wars of Religion and the Revolution before being bought by the Dordogne department in 1978. A patient restoration has given it back its volumes.
Its courtyards and terraces host the exhibition: the trees are shown under the arcades of the upper courtyard and along the terraces overlooking the countryside. The two-storey chapel, the twelfth-century keep and the vaulted kitchens can be visited on the same day.
