About us
Le Sens du Bonsaï
Le Sens du Bonsaï is a non-profit association from the Dordogne, born in 2022 of a simple decision: to organise, as a team, a bonsai exhibition on a par with the great French shows. Its aim is to let everyone discover the thousand-year-old art of bonsai.
The first edition was held at Château de Biron on 16 and 17 May 2026, with some fifty trees, suiseki and a professionals' village. Contact: lesensdubonsai@gmail.com.
Vital Bonsai
The exhibition is organised on the initiative of Vital Bonsai, Bruno Faure's bonsai school: articles, videos and coaching to learn how to make your first tree. The club was born from that school, and every edition is prepared with it.

Do I need to own a tree already?
No. The workshops welcome beginners; the club lends tools and practice trees for the first sessions.
Can I exhibit without being a member?
Yes. The exhibition is open to every applicant, enthusiasts and professionals alike.
